Dr. Ben Paxton

Dr. Ben Paxton grew up in Salt Lake City, UT. He graduated summa cum laude from Brigham Young University and received his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. Following his medical school education, Dr. Paxton completed his diagnostic radiology residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham North Carolina.

Following his residency, Dr. Paxton completed a one year Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship at Duke University Medical Center and is board certified in both diagnostic and interventional radiology. He specializes in minimally invasive procedures using image guidance.

Dr. Paxton is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and the Radiological Society of North America. Currently, Dr. Paxton serves as Yavapai Regional Medical Center’s Positron Emission Tomography (PET)/CT Medical Director to Alliance Radiology.
Dr. Paxton resides in Prescott, AZ with his wife and four children. In his free time, he enjoys studying history, reading, and is an avid marathon runner and triathlete.
